Looking for virtual therapy? I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist offering evidence-based, collaborative therapy for BIPOC professionals, couples, and LGBTQ clients. This page will answer common questions and guide you on how to start a session.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Clicking here will take you to a window where you can view my calendar and set up a free 15-minute consultation or other service.

Do you work with Black professionals or Latinx/Hispanic professionals?

Yes. A core part of my practice is working with Black professionals and Latinx/Hispanic professionals who are navigating the emotional and relational impact of high-pressure careers, leadership roles, and culturally specific stressors. While I work with clients from a range of marginalized identities, my clinical focus includes the unique ways race, culture, and professional environments intersect for Black and Latinx professionals—particularly those who are high-achieving, first-generation, or balancing complex family and cultural expectations.

Can I meet with you for virtual therapy if I'm not in Texas?

Possibly. I am authorized to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology in several states (full list here). Not all insurance plans cover out-of-state mental health services. Please contact your insurance company if you need clarification about your benefits.

What are the fees for services?

My hourly fee for individuals is $200 and $250 for couples. I accept the following insurance plans: Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare/Optum, and Aetna. Baylor Scott White accepted February 2026.

I can provide a Superbill for reimbursement from your insurance provider if I do not currently accept your plan. Sliding scale is available.

Evaluations and speaking engagements have varying costs. Fees are discussed during the consultation.

What can I expect during the first session?

If you schedule a 15-minute consultation, we will be able to discuss your goals for therapy and get to know a little about each other. It’s a no-pressure call to get an idea of my style and for me to learn a little about your current concerns.

During the first full session, we focus more on your background, specifics about what brings you to therapy, and fine-tune your hopes/expectations for our work together.

Are sessions in-person or online?

All sessions are currently held online using the Simple Practice platform.
